Innovativity in Modelling and Analytics Journal of Research publishing ethics are grounded on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Responsibilities of editors:

  • The editor-in-chief has to decide which of the articles submitted to the journal are with the highest quality and relevance for publication.
  • The editor has to assess the manuscript as intellectual work without concerning the author’s race, gender, nationality, ethnic origin, citizenship, political philosophy, religion and sexual orientation.
  • The editor is obliged to provide unbiased reviewing process of manuscripts by qualified reviewers.
  • The editor must not disclose information concerning the submitted manuscripts to anyone with exception of the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial advisers, or the publisher if it is acceptable.
  • The editor should resolve conflicts of interest in the publishing process. The editor must not use unpublished manuscript in his own research without the written agreement of the authors.
  • We follow the Gold Open Access way in journal publishing. This means that our journals provide immediate open access for readers to all articles on the publisher’s website. The readers, therefore, are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts or use them for any other lawful purpose. The operations of the journals are alternatively financed by publication fees paid by authors or by their institutions or funding agencies.

Responsibilities of authors:

  • The authors have to ensure that the manuscript is their original and unpublished work, which is not simultaneously submitted in other journal(s).
  • The authors have to submit manuscript in correct English formatted in compliance with the journal’s requirements.
  • The authors must avoid plagiarism and conflicts of interests.
  • The authors have to provide the raw data connected with the manuscript for the goals of editorial review.
  • The authors have to correct significant errors in the manuscript.
  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Responsibilities of reviewers:

  • The reviewers assist the editor in the process of editorial decision making concerning submitted manuscript.
  • The reviewers assist the authors in the process of manuscript improvement.
  • The reviewers must adhere to the deadlines for submitting the reviews.
  • The received manuscripts should be treated confidentially by the reviewers.
  • The reviewers should be objective and support their remarks and recommendations with clear arguments and references to reliable sources. Personal criticism is inadmissible.
  • The reviewers must not review the manuscripts, in which they have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative or other relationships or connections with some of the authors, companies or institutions related to the papers.
